- Save a checkPick the prompts, brands, and AI surfaces to measure, from your connected AI or the Cite42 dashboard. Up to 30 prompts per tracker.
- Choose a scheduleRun it weekly or monthly on the day and time you choose. A new tracker starts as a Draft, so nothing runs yet.
- Confirm the cost ceilingActivation shows the exact cost per run and authorizes it as the ceiling. If a later estimate goes above it, Cite42 pauses the tracker for review.
- Read results and changesEvery run is stored. Read the history and what changed in the dashboard, or ask your AI to summarize it over MCP.

Weekly or monthly, at the day, time and timezone you choose, and you can also run a tracker manually between scheduled runs. One tracker holds up to 30 buyer questions, all checked on the same schedule.
Each run bills the tool behind the tracker for every saved question, at its normal per-model price. For example, an AI Visibility tracker with 10 questions costs $1.30 per run across the three default AI models. Creating, editing, pausing and reading trackers is free.
When you activate a tracker you confirm its exact cost per run, and that becomes its limit. Runs continue at current prices up to that limit. If a later estimate is higher, Cite42 pauses the tracker for your review instead of charging more.
Yes. Cite42's tracker MCP tools let an authorized agent list your trackers, run them and read every stored report, so you can ask Claude or Codex what changed since last week. The same history is in the dashboard and the REST API.
